The Noongar Founder of Hi Vis Traffic, has seen an opportunity to use the means available via a well-established Indigenous labour hire business to help end Indigenous disparity. Through Hi Vis Traffic, we aim to create real opportunities for the Indigenous community through upskilling and employment opportunities in the traffic management sector. Through the labour hire business, the experienced recruitment staff have access to thousands of Indigenous people who are both experienced and new starters within this industry.
Hi Vis Traffic was established when the Founder recognised a labour market gap: Indigenous employment targets were increasing across the infrastructure and construction sectors, but uptake of Indigenous people was either too slow or non-existent. Hi Vis Traffic will strive to win as many contracts as possible to ensure the immediate employment of large numbers of Indigenous people. Our purpose is two-fold: creating Indigenous employment opportunities, while creating and maintaining a safe and team-friendly work environment for all who use and work on our roads.
